Microsoft lanza pack de codecs para ver archivos RAW desde el explorador de Win

Sin muchas ganas ni mucho despliegue Microsoft lanzó el nuevo pack de codecs que permite el acceso a una experiencia mas interesante, sin importar la marca de tu cámara.

La instalación es sencilla y rápida y los requerimientos no son muchos. Por ahora solo esta disponible para Windows 7 y Windows Vista SP2. Si bien la lista de cámaras compatibles es bastante amplia, aún hay algunos faltantes que extraña que los hayan dejado de lado, como la Canon 60D, 600D, Nikon D3100 y D7000, por lo que esperemos que esta sea una primera versión y haya muchas mas por venir.

    The Microsoft Camera Codec Pack enables the viewing of a variety of device-specific file formats in Window Live Photo Gallery as well as other software that is based in Windows Imaging Codecs (WIC).

    Installing this package will allow supported RAW camera files to be viewable in Windows Explorer.

    This package is available in both the x86 and x64 versions .
